Joseph McCarthy
Joe is an artist working out of Connecticut and Vermont. He attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts where he studied film making, photography and sculpture. He then attended the New York Film Academy in Los Angelas, CA.
After returning to Connecticut, Joe began creating sculptures and installations for public and private institutions. In 2013, he opened a screen printing company in West Hartford, CT called NeckahNeck which became a postcard printing company mid pandemic.
Over the years, Joe has collaborated on projects with Wesleyan University, The City of Hartford, The State of Connecticut, Tnmot Aztro, NBOSS and many other artists and organizations throughout New England. Currently Joe is interested in large scale sculptural installations and long term explorative projects.
He has shown work in America and Europe and is currently working from his studios in Manchester, CT and in Southern Vermont.
